Asterion is a god of life and ecstatic celebration, and he pings as such to anyone with spiritual sensitivity. His canon is a reinterpretation of the legend of the Minotaur drawing from Greek mythology, some Egyptian mythology, and self-indulgent speculation about Minoan mythology. He is essentially based on an early prototypical version of Dionysos; his character centers around a timeless existence of partying and being brutally sacrificed.
